 Cross Creek can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Hephzibah Rebels with a sharp  17-5 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Cross Creek needed considering they were shutout in their previous   game.
  Tyler Crapps made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. Crapps has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Crapps was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Brandon Wallace was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.  Benjamin Johnson was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 4-for-4.
 Cross Creek's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Hephzibah, they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-11.
 Cross Creek will have a chance to go back-to-back against Hephzibah: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
