Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Commerce came out on top against Washington-Wilkes by a score of 5-2. This was payback for Commerce, who suffered a 10-9 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Commerce and bumps their season record up to 7-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Washington-Wilkes, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Coincidentally, Commerce and Washington-Wilkes will both be playing East Hall the next time they take the field. Washington-Wilkes will head out to face East Hall at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Commerce will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
