Even if they lost, St. Luke's Episcopal's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In that department, Carter Spivey was the leader with two.
Cottage Hill Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Cottage Hill Christian Academy has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 226.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like St. Luke's Episcopal struggles in that department as they've been averaging 198.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
