Soccer Recap: Hoover's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

Hoover barely beat Northwood-Kensett the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 5-1 victory on Tuesday. Considering Hoover's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Hoover's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10-3. As for Northwood-Kensett, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-2 record this season.

Hoover wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 victory against St. Ansgar on the 13th. As for Northwood-Kensett, they have also already played their next game, a 9-1 win against Charles City on the 16th.
