Basketball Recap: Ellwood City Takes a Loss

Ellwood City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 48-14 loss at the hands of the Washington Prexies. The Wolverine were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-4.

Despite the defeat, Ellwood City saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Carah Kreitzer posted ten points.

Ellwood City's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Ellwood City will head out to face off against Union Area at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Washington, they will welcome McKeesport at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
