Soccer Game Preview: Lancaster vs. Antelope Valley

The Lancaster Eagles will challenge the Antelope Valley Antelopes at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lancaster's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Monday just wasn't the day for Lancaster's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Highland on Monday.

Meanwhile, Antelope Valley also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Quartz Hill on Monday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Antelopes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 685th, while the Royals are ranked 108th).

Antelope Valley now has a losing record at 7-8-1. As for Lancaster, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13-2.
