Baseball Recap: Ruston Comes Up Short

Ruston has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They came up short against the West Monroe Rebels, falling 11-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bearcats have suffered since April 6, 2024.

Ruston is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 24-11. As for West Monroe, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 24-6-1.
