Football Game Preview: Allegany Campers vs. Clear Spring Blazers + How To Watch

The Allegany Campers will challenge the Clear Spring Blazers on Friday. Allegany has given up an average of 33.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Allegany is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Fort Hill just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were beaten by the Sentinels 57-13. The Campers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-0.

Aidyn Mckenzie put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 49 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Clear Spring came up short against Southern Huntingdon County two weeks ago and fell 22-14. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Blazers came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 188th in Maryland, while the Rockets are ranked 516th in Pennsylvania).

Allegany's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-5. As for Clear Spring, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Allegany against Clear Spring when the teams last played back in November of 2022, as the squad secured a 43-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Campers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
