Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-53 victory over the Montrose Meteors on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since February 2nd.

The victory got Riverside back to even at 2-2. As for Montrose, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Riverside and Holy Cross will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Montrose will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Blue Ridge at 2:30 p.m. on December 27th.
