Softball Recap: Creekside Comes Up Short

If Creekside was feeling good fresh off their 20-3 takedown of Mays last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Seminoles came up short against the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings on Wednesday, falling 17-1. The contest marked the Seminoles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Dazire Randle was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Creekside's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creekside will challenge M.L. King at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they will take on Strong Rock Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
