Softball Recap: Cook Has No Trouble Against Worth County

Cook never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Worth County Rams as they made off with an 8-0 win. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Cook and bumps their season record up to 20-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Worth County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.

Cook will head out on the road to square off against Bainbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Worth County, they will be playing at home against Crisp County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
