Softball Recap: Oskaloosa Comes Up Short

Oskaloosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 12-8 to Indianola. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Indianola this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Monday.

Oskaloosa's record now sits at 6-13. As for Indianola, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Oskaloosa will take on Dallas Center-Grimes at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Indianola, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-0 defeat against Northwest on the 17th.
