Basketball Game Preview: Medora Hornets vs. Henryville Hornets

The Medora Hornets are taking a road trip to square off against the Henryville Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Medora knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Henryville likes a good challenge.

Medora is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest victory since January 12th on Saturday. They blew past Eminence, posting a 62-34 win.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Medora to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trey Owen, who went 6 of 7 en route to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dawson Cornett, who posted ten points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Meanwhile, Henryville scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Austin.

Henryville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Medora, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Medora suffered a grim 67-46 defeat to Henryville in their previous meeting back in January. Can Medora avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
