Baseball Recap: Lanier Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Lanier Christian Academy lost against Horizon Christian Academy back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lightning took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Lightning's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Lanier Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Strabala, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Lanier Christian Academy's record is now 5-8. As for Horizon Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-9 record.

While Lanier Christian Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
