Basketball Recap: Cloverdale Drops Highest Score of Season Against Berean Christian

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cloverdale had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 67-39 win over Berean Christian. Cloverdale's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Among those leading the charge was Ronni Hatcher, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. She has become a key player for Cloverdale: the team is undefeated when she posts at least ten boards, but 9-12 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Izabella Sanchez, who posted ten points.

Despite the loss, Berean Christian still got an impressive performance from Jadee Salvador, who put up 21 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. That was a full 53.8% of Berean Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row Salvador has had more than a third of the team's points. Sophie O'Hara was another key player, putting up seven points.

Cloverdale now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Berean Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season.

Cloverdale will take on Fort Bragg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berean Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
