Basketball Recap: Palmdale Takes a Loss

Palmdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Quartz Hill Royals, falling 71-33. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-27 back in December of 2024.

Quartz Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ashantee Palmer, who went 12 of 20 en route to 24 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Brooke Dabo, who went 6 for 15 on her way to 15 points in addition to eight boards and six assists.

Palmdale's record is now 2-9. As for Quartz Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Palmdale has already played their next game, a 52-18 loss against Knight on the 23rd. As for Quartz Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-46 win against Rosamond on the 22nd.
