Softball Recap: Bryan County Victorious

Bryan County's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tattnall County Warriors, sneaking past 8-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redskins also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2015.

Bryan County got a massive performance out of Camryn Parker, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one double. Elizabeth Harvey was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Bryan County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Tattnall County, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Bryan County will take on Mary Persons at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tattnall County, they will head out on the road to take on Ware County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
