MOC-Floyd Valley was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Okoboji on Thursday. The Dutchmen's pitchers stepped up to hand the Pioneers a 16-0 shutout. The Dutchmen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by eight runs or more this season.

MOC-Floyd Valley's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Okoboji, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.

Coincidentally, MOC-Floyd Valley and Okoboji will both be playing Sioux Center the next time they take the field. The Dutchmen will host the Warriors on Monday, while the Pioneers will host them on Thursday.
