Basketball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for South

South won the last time they faced Garces Memorial and things went their way on Thursday too. The South Spartans walked away with a 39-27 victory over the Garces Memorial Rams.

South pushed their record up to 4-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 15.3 points per game. As for Garces Memorial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

South will venture away from home to face off against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Garces Memorial, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lancaster at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
