Baseball Recap: Kane Comes Up Short

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Kane had to take the L. They fell just short of the Redbank Valley Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Kane saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Kane's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Redbank Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Kane nor Redbank Valley have any future games scheduled.
