Basketball Game Preview: Greenway Demons vs. Goldwater Bulldogs

The Greenway Demons will head out to take on the Goldwater Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenway is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Greenway will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Paradise Honors, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. Greenway came out on top in a nail-biter against Paradise Honors on Thursday, sneaking past 44-41.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goldwater). They secured a 74-68 W over Moon Valley on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Goldwater's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-13. As for Greenway, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6.

Greenway was able to grind out a solid victory over Goldwater in their previous meeting on January 7th, winning 60-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greenway since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
