Soccer Recap: Ramona Comes Up Short

Ramona and Escondido Charter combined for 11 shots on goal on Friday, which explains the impressive six total goals scored. The Ramona Bulldogs lost 5-1 to the Escondido Charter Tigers. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Bulldogs struggled afterwards.

Their goal came courtesy of Jordyn Sobczak, which was the first she's scored this season.

Ramona's defeat dropped their record down to 4-5-1. As for Escondido Charter, they moved to 5-5-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ramona will square off against Valhalla at 6:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Escondido Charter, they will face off against Del Lago Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Escondido Charter is facing Del Lago Academy at the right time seeing as Del Lago Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
