Liberty's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Memorial Chargers a 12-0 shutout. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Liberty's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Memorial, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Liberty will challenge Prue at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Memorial, they will face off against Douglass at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
