Layla Portis posted a new career-high in hits on Monday. She went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Coming up, Portis and Incarnate Word Academy will be playing at home against Gateway Science Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
