Softball Recap: Green Mountain Comes Up Short

Green Mountain lost against Berthoud back in October of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams came up short against the Spartans, falling 9-1. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Green Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Berthoud, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Green Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berthoud, they will be taking part in a tournament against Golden at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Demons have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season.
