Leigh is 8-1-1 against Leland since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Leigh Longhorns will take on the Leland Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Leigh's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Leland's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Leland will be up against a hot Leigh team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Leigh never let Gilroy onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Gilroy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kaya Schaefer, Shani Outlaw, and Tori Anderson.

Meanwhile, Leland sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Branham on Thursday.

Leland is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Leigh, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0-2.

Everything went Leigh's way against Leland in their previous meeting back in January, as Leigh made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Leigh since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
