Soccer Game Preview: Valwood vs. Frederica Academy

The Valwood Valiants will face off against Frederica Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Valwood came up short against Thomasville on Wednesday, falling 7-2. The Valiants were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Meanwhile, Frederica Academy fought the good fight in their overtime game against Brookwood on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. Frederica Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.

Valwood now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Frederica Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Valwood beat Frederica Academy 4-2 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Valwood repeat their success, or does Frederica Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
