Basketball Recap: Mifflinburg Comes Up Short

Mifflinburg lost against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mifflinburg Wildcats took a hard 42-25 fall against the Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 536th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 262nd).

Mifflinburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Mifflinburg won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Montoursville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mifflinburg is facing Montoursville at the right time seeing as Montoursville is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
