Soccer Recap: Monrovia Falls Short of Chadwick in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Monrovia can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chadwick Dolphins on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Monrovia has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Chadwick, their record now sits at 8-5.

Monrovia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chadwick, they will square off against Artesia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Artesia will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Chadwick surely won't give up without a fight.
