Recap: Colfax Falcons vs. Shasta Wolves
The Colfax Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Shasta 60-39. The win was just what Colfax needed coming off of a 64-43 defeat in their prior matchup.
Colfax's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Juliette James, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. The match was James' third in a row with at least ten points. Laurlyn Massick was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Colfax's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Shasta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colfax will be home for the holidays to greet Vista del Lago at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shasta and Fall River will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
