Pocola owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Bixby Spartans as they made off with a 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won seven matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Pocola's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Bixby, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Pocola will look to defend their home field on the 16th against Whitesboro at 5:00 p.m. As for Bixby, they will head out on the road to square off against Muskogee at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
