Volleyball Recap: Westview Takes a Loss

Westview lost against Garrett back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell just short of the Railroaders by a score of 2-1.

Kloie Yoder paced Westview's offense, picking up nine kills. Yoder got some help from Alayah Hostetler and her ten assists. Yoder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Garrett found their leader in freshman Kaylee Gaar, who had 12 digs and five assists.

Westview's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Garrett, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Westview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Eastside on the 11th. As for Garrett, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Angola on the 11th.
