Baseball Game Preview: Northeast Raiders vs. Washington County Golden Hawks

Northeast hasn't had much luck against Washington County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Northeast Raiders will head out to challenge the Washington County Golden Hawks at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Northeast is headed out to face Washington County after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Northeast came out on top against Southwest by a score of 8-4 on Tuesday.

Northeast saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Talley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Josh Evans was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Washington County hadn't done well against Toombs County recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Washington County walked away with a 5-1 win over Toombs County. The victory was familiar territory for the Golden Hawks, who have now won three games in a row.

Northeast suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Washington County when the teams last played back in March of 2022. Can Northeast avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
