Basketball Recap: Dublin Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Dublin Gaels were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 39-38 to the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers.

Lick-Wilmerding got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hailey Moy out in front who posted 16 points. Shelby Attley was another key player, putting up four points along with seven boards and three steals.

Dublin has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-4 record this season. As for Lick-Wilmerding, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Dublin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-29 victory against Amador Valley on the 28th. As for Lick-Wilmerding, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-25 win against Urban on the 28th.
