Wayland hadn't done well against Weston recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Warriors walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in April, they had to take a 11-1 defeat.

Wayland moved to 6-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Weston, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7.
