Basketball Recap: Tennessee Preparatory Academy Takes a Loss

Tennessee Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 93-62 loss at the hands of the ISchool of Lewisville Cougar. If the Diplomat Lions were looking for revenge after losing 84-67 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Leading iSchool of Lewisville to victory were Wyatt Seale and Mario Wooden. Seale almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine rebounds, while Wooden went 9 of 12 on his way to 25 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Townsend, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points.

Tennessee Preparatory Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4. As for iSchool of Lewisville, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Tennessee Preparatory Academy and Tennessee Heat will round out the year against one another at at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for iSchool of Lewisville, they will welcome Prince George's Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
