Basketball Recap: Orange Glen Takes a Loss

Orange Glen lost against Escondido Adventist Academy last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The matchup between the Orange Glen Patriots and the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks didn't end well, with the Orange Glen Patriots falling 47-31.

Orange Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orange Glen won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tri-City Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-City Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Orange Glen surely won't give up without a fight. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks duke it out with the Maranatha Christian Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Escondido Adventist Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
