Softball Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

After flying high against Milan on Thursday, Albany came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Marceline Tigers on Saturday, falling 11-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Warriors, who until this game were averaging 2.5 runs allowed.

Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 23-5. As for Marceline, the win (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Albany wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-5 victory against Gallatin on the 11th. Marceline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
