Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Haven). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Belle Plaine Dragons 45-6. With the Wildcats ahead 42-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Haven, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kolton Altvater, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Haven pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.8 points over those games. As for Belle Plaine, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
