For the second straight game, Hamilton Southeastern will face off against Franklin Central. The Royals will head out on the road to challenge the Flashes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hamilton Southeastern is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Hamilton Southeastern took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Franklin Central a 6-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Royals have posted against the Flashes since May 19, 2022.

Not much got past Spencer Mohr, who gave up just four hits to keep Franklin Central off the board.

At the plate, Parker O'Steen was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Shepherd, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Hamilton Southeastern is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Franklin Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15.
