Basketball Recap: Forest Lake Christian Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sacramento Adventist, Forest Lake Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Dixon Rams by a score of 37-28.

Forest Lake Christian found their leader in sophomore Kenzie Harrington, who dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 18 rebounds, and ten blocks. Those ten blocks gave Harrington a new career-high. Jordan Bell was another key player, putting up nine points along with five boards and three steals.

Forest Lake Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dixon only posted three assists.

Dixon's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alina Munoz, who posted eight points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Wartson, who had four points and ten boards.

Forest Lake Christian's record is now 7-5. As for Dixon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Forest Lake Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-33 defeat against Pierce on the 14th. As for Dixon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 45-29 win against Rio Vista on the 13th.
