Baseball Recap: Potterville Comes Up Short

If Potterville was riding high fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Everett last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell just short of the Bath Bees by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Bees recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Potterville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Warren, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. Logan Long also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Potterville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Bath, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-9-1.

Coming up, Potterville will welcome Maple Valley at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bath, they will head out to challenge Laingsburg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
