Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gryphons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Academy for Classical Education, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will venture away from home to take on Dodge County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Academy for Classical Education, they will take on Jefferson County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
