Baseball Recap: Griffin Takes a Loss

Griffin lost against Central last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Griffin Bears lost 12-2 to the Central Lions. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Albert Casmere made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Griffin's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Central, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Coming up, Griffin will square off against Starr's Mill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Starr's Mill will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Griffin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
