Basketball Recap: Patagonia Lobos vs. The Gregory School Hawks
Patagonia lost against The Gregory School back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patagonia Lobos were beaten by The Gregory School Hawks 61-25. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Defeat or not, Patagonia got some senior leadership from Diego Carranza and DJ Castro. Carranza posted nine points and six steals, while Castro earned seven points.
The Gregory School was led to victory by Ben Head and Devin Dawson. Head went 7 of 16 en route to 16 points, while Dawson scored 14 points. The game was Head's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chase Butler, who put up nine points.
Patagonia's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for The Gregory School, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
