Baseball Recap: Brookfield Takes a Loss

Brookfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 12-9 to the Immaculate Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

Brian Barry stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 3-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles. Another player making a difference was James Oliver, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Brookfield's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Immaculate, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.

As of now, neither Brookfield nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
