Baseball Game Preview: Early County Bobcats vs. Miller County Pirates

The Early County Bobcats will square off against the Miller County Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Early County came up short against Miller County on Tuesday, falling 12-2. The Bobcats have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

For Miller County's part, Kolby Yates and Creek Durden did most of the damage at the plate: Yates scored two runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Durden went 3-for-4 with five RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Yates a new career-high. Hezekiah Judkins was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Miller County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Early County's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Miller County, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
