Softball Recap: Standing Bear Comes Up Short

Standing Bear saw some tournament action on Friday. They came up short against the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks, falling 7-1. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Standing Bear's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Lincoln Southwest, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Standing Bear will be taking part in a tournament against Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln Southwest, they will take on Norfolk in a tournament on Friday. The Silver Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
