Baseball Recap: Orange Beach Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mortimer Jordan on Saturday, Orange Beach came back down to earth. The Makos came up short against the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints on Saturday, falling 7-0. The Makos haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Orange Beach now has a losing record of 7-8. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Orange Beach will host Oakman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they are taking a road trip to challenge Theodore at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.27 runs per game on average), something the Saints will no doubt try to take advantage of.
