Soccer Game Preview: Stow-Munroe Falls vs. Wadsworth

The Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Wadsworth Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stow-Munroe Falls' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Stow-Munroe Falls' offense. They fell just short of Hoover by a score of 1-0 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Wadsworth's matchup on Thursday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against Ashland as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Wadsworth, who have now won five matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Ashland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Justin Lazzaretti, Kyle Nagel, and Nate Pelkey.

The win made it two in a row for Wadsworth and bumps their season record up to 6-3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two contests. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-3.

Stow-Munroe Falls beat Wadsworth by a goal in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
